Moody Methodist Church Delivers 200 "Flood Buckets" to GHF

Moody Methodist Church Delivers 200 "Flood Buckets" to Galveston Historical Foundation Headquarters for Distribution to Islanders with Flood Damage

Galveston Historical Foundation will be distributing "flood buckets" to islanders with flood damage. On Monday, September 20, Moody Methodist Church delivered to GHF Headquarters at the 1861 Custom House 200 buckets containing bleach, scouring pads, sponges, scriub brush, cleaning towels, liquid laundry detergent, household cleaner, disinfectant dish soap, clothes pins, clothes line, dust masks, latex gloves, work gloves, heavy duty trash bags, insect repellent and air freshener.

GHF staff will distribute these buckets to Galveston citizens who need them to begin working on the remediating of flood damage to their homes. 
The Flood Bucket Program is administered by the United Methodist Committee on Relief.
