Street Vendors
Against a backdrop of vintage Victorian architecture, Galveston’s Strand National Historic Landmark District (only 50 miles from downtown Houston) offers the perfect setting for the annual Dickens on The Strand festival.
Costumed vendors are on hand to peddle their wares and serve their fare, the event has become a shopper’s paradise, and each year serves up ample portions of art, craft and fine food items for Dickens revelers.
