Galveston Historical Foundation proudly exhibits artifacts never before seen in America, courtesy of London’s Charles Dickens Museum. Visitors can see rare editions, manuscripts, original furniture and many other items relating to the life of one of the most popular and beloved personalities of the Victorian age. The highlight of this year’s exhibition is the painting Dickens' Dream by R.W. Buss. The Charles Dickens Museum is the world's most important collection of material relating to the great Victorian novelist and social commentator.
Also at the Dickens Emporium, official Dickens on The Strand souvenir merchandise will be available for purchase, as well as copies of Charles Dickens’ literary works.
